check with a test light and see if the injectors are pulsing, or unbolt the fuel rail leaving the injectors cliped into the rail then get someone to crank the engine, be carefull because if you are getting fuel and injector fuel will spray out of the injectors....

did you try this???

thats the next to do. I will put the reg back in a chack the injectors with the replacement bcm attached. If that dont work then I will try the second bcm and ecu that SWC gave me to try and see how we go then. So I dont earth the series light on the top of the rocker cover bolt, just complete the circuit from+ and - on the plug right?

yes we have now a puse to the injectors, fuel at the rail, air ( new cleaner) and spark ( new coil and plugs). When I did the coil, if I had put a lead in the wrong place, would that stop it from running? I am sure they are right as there was 2 leads that I could not see the numbers on it but one would not reach to the other ( think 5 and another one). If the coil is right, then its gotta be the fuel right? I remember a charade broke down on the hwy years ago and I helped the old bloke to get it started and it was the same thing, fuel/air/spark ok but not start.
Whats the best way to drain the tank? It has 1/4 tank in it and I put an extra 5 litres in it the other day to see if I could dilute it.

Alright problem resolved, but I thought I would see if anyone else can get it. SWC then man at Troyman the man gave me heaps of help to sort this out with SWC loaning me alot of stuff to try aswell, so I cannot take the credit. It was SWC and I think someone else on the last thread who got it.
Scenario:
Ef fairmont stalls in driveway and wont start. No pulse to injectors.
Replaced coil pack and plugs because of low spark
replaced air filter just incase
replaced fuel filter
replaced ecu
replaced bcm- got pulse at injectors but motor wont start
went to replace fuel reg, but fuel at rails
replaced relay's and fuses
STILL NO START
What would you do next?
Dont answer SWC

Water in the fuel, thats right. Dropped the induction pipe off and sprayed some fuel into the throttle body while the mrs started it and kept the revs up to it while I kept squirting, took about 2 minutes before it ran on its own with some white smoke thrown out the pipe. It had been 4 days since the last fuel was put into it before it just stallled. Would have thought it would have shown signs before that

yep after all that. the crook bcm didnt help but i suspect the main cause was the fuel. I suppose we can say the car now has had a "full service".Thanks again Troyman

i would also be concerned about where you got your fuel from?
if it is water, put a few litres of methylated spirits in the tank , this will disperse the water and let it mix with the fuel and will burn off.
or remove the tank and clean it right out..

yeah thought that. Got Metho in the tank and ran her for a good while yesterday, had a couple of beers so couldnt go down and grab some more fuel.
It was Caltex Hazelbrook but we were stuck until lately because the only other close statioin was closed for reno's and opened on Saturday. Ben told that caltex hazo can be good or bad, so will be giving that one a miss
