How far do you want to go with the car? Keep it NA or you want to turbo it later?
If NA your next step would be a bigger intake, cam upgrade and a J3 chip dyno tuned.

I have a wade 1673 cam I no longer have a need for.

That should give it some more go, without sacrificing drive ability, and works without a tune. A J3 Chip to suit would be more beneficial though.

PM me if you want more info.

Cheers

I had that cam in my car with intake/exhaust mods with a J3 dyno tuned and it made ~145rwkw. Did high 14's down the quarter, was nice and torquey as well.

I'd also suggest the BA or Territory intake piping from airbox to throttle body over the EL/AU type.. Hell, even the original EF BBQ plate intake flows better than the EL/AU. :)

next time i take mine to the dyno I will bring a 3" stainless pipe, EL pipe and Ef intake and see which makes the most power I dont reckon the EL an EF will show any difference

I dont know if its been done before but that would be interesting. I was told the BBQ plate was better than the El/Au direct pipe and thats why I have kept the BBQ plate, but I am only going on advise and not spec's so Id be interested in the outcome

EF has an 80mm trumpeted exit from the air box lid, the EL and AU have a 50mm exit.

Makes a fair bit of difference.

Cheers

Also the EF intake has a nice smooth curve in towards the throttlebody (As does the BA/F & Territory) rather than the relatively sharp bend the EL/AU setup has. Air flows MUCH better trough a curved pipe than it does hitting a sudden bend.
I've used all 3 intakes (EF/EL/BA) in the wagon and I noticed the EL one just wasn't as responsive as the EF BBQ plate, while the BA setup was a very noticeable difference in throttle response. Probably does sweet F.A. in regards to overall power increase (minimal, if any at all) but she certainly picks up revs better.
In my opinion all the EL/AU setup does over the EF is tidy up the top of the motor.
But as per my original post, it would be worthwhile hunting down BA intake piping and an EF airbox.

I now have a Territory Intake between the Throttle Body and EF Airbox in my EB.

Best bang for your buck using factory parts.

Cheers
