As you know the EF Falcon has dual air intake pipes, i am planning to install a custom air intake and dont know how to get around this. I was planning to replace the pipes completly but taking another look at the setup i thought that might be a bit difficult. Whats the best way around this? Ive seen a few people just replace the air filter with a pod setup but that wouldnt get much cold air in, and that leads to my next question about mounting places, where is the best place to mount the pod? ive seen a few ricey cars have it protruding from there bonnet, that looks good but ive also heard a few people putting it just above the left wheel?

There's a few threads around on this already. This is one set up I originally made, I've improved it a bit now:

I just got an EL peice for infront of the throttle body, but that's because my LPG mixer is there. If it was on petrol only I'd have organised something else.
