My ef fairmont switches on then goes dead (no lights on dash etc at all) and it does this randomly (not every time)

Any ideas on what this could be ??

Could it possibly be the imobilizer?

Check your earths and clean your battery terminals,test your battery,that's all folks well not really make sure the charge rate is ok ,sorry there's more to check .Ignition switches can show those symptons too.Cheers Kevman.
