Just above your left knee, on the dash....give that a little tap if u get in trouble, and it wont crank... In the long run....you will need to replace the BEM and redo the keys sorry thats wrong, no need to do keys, just wack new bem in flick it one click leave it for 30mins when u go back to the car the smart lock should be flicking constantly if i remember, then crank it over. Make sure you dont click it back or u wil have to wait another 30mins. this resets the bem. and will let the motor run and learn new leave it run for a couple of mins and turn off all done. i swapped my bem over all good now do u have a subby at all?? if its wired wrong can constantly be draining battery

I assume he means remote fobs.
Motor doesn't learn BEM, you run it to charge the 30mins of ign. being on. The BEM learns the keyed ignition barrel, so yes 30mins to get to the programing sequence and 60 for an EL.

Sorry..i should have been more clear...
i didnt mean new keys... i just meant you had to recalibrate the fobs/keys with the BEM Cheers |
