HI im working on my sons ef I6 and jost replaced intake manifold gasket due to it being stuffed when I started car it ran realy well then stalled I managed to get it to fire again then it stalled after about a 2 minute run Could it be fuel filter

Did you use the correct inlet manifold gasket (the one with the small cutouts for the injectors)?

Other than that if it was working fine before you swapped it over then I would just back track and have a look at everything you changed or disconnected then reconnected. Makesure the main loom plug(square) ontop of the BBM is secure aswell.

went from one end to the other jacked up rear of car and car ran for same time. I placed a steel bar against the fuel pump no sound. Tapped it and away it went Bloody thing.. Car been sitting for about a month cheers charlie
