hi all I have just replaced my cylinder head on my ef falcon futura. I also replaced the welsh plugs on the intake side. when putting the intake back in i think i put the fuel hoses around the wrong way but im not sure. i bought a xr6 fuel reg and it starts but runs really s**t. but when i change it back to the normal regulator the car starts but cant run!? can anyone help me asap

I think it would be pretty hard to mix the lines up as they are fairly tight stretch re fitting them as it is.
As for not running smoothly, was the cam put back in correctly and no chance the timing chain slipped a link? Also check all vacuum hoses etc. map sensor to manifold is often a hose that cracks over time and can cause car to run like a dog. Also may sounds silly but check that your leads are all plugged in correctly

hey thankyou for replying I pulled everything apart and found the fuel rail inlet line is kinked. so I think that's starving it of fuel and making it run funny

Yeah mate seen that happen before. Make sure you actually use a spanner to hold lines firm otherwise if you just use the one spanner to tighten it and don't hold lines firm in place with another you will bend it tightening it. If that makes sense haha
