Hi all,
Firstly I'm not sure if this is in the right section, my apologies if it isn't. Can anyone please tell/show me i.e. diagram, as to the orientation of the brakelight switch for an EF. I have installed a new one but it just keeps drooping towards the floor, which consequently stops it from operating effectively. Is there a set way they have to be installed ? I had a look in the techdocs section, found this link :- forums/documents.php?doc=23 , but the link doesn't work Any help would be appreciated. Scanner |

Hey bud,
I just replaced mine and the orientation is thick white plastic washer on rod on foot pedal then make sure the black plactic insert is in the push rod, get the switch so the slot cut out is facing to the drivers door, slide the push rod on so its flush with the end of the rod on the pedal then slide the switch up square and put the green washer on the outside and put the "R" clip in to hold it all into place. hope that helps.
