Another small problem, a couple of times over quite a period of time, I've pulled the clutch back from a standpoint in my EF 5-speed manual falcon and I've heard a big clunk and the gear has just jumped back into neutral from first. It hasn't happened consistently but it doesn't sound or look to good. Does anyone have any idea onto what could be causing this?

yeah the gear has only popped out two or three times but that was over a long period of time. If I fang second gear though and pop it into third I sumtimes here and feel a churning sound. I've slowly stopped fanging second gear for the sake of the gearbox but sometimes I forget and just want to pull away from everyone else.
I am getting my car to go in for a service soon at a Ford Specialist who are actually pretty good money and mechanics wise. I will ask them to take a look and give me the bad news
