I do know that for an ef head gasket to go.This time last year Ford replaced my head gasket now it is blown again and I am 3weeks out of my 12months warranty.
They have told me that since it is just over the 12 months Ford will most probably not honour the warranty.
I have just done over 19000kms which to me is not a lot of kms for a head gasket to blow again.
Do you think Ford should replace my head gasket under warranty?

They must have done a crap job of it. I haven't had one fail after being done yet. Probably didn't clean stuff properly, or reused the old head bolts, or didn't repair the head properly, or the engine block has marks in it, to deep for a gasket to seal it well.

Or WOT just after ignition on a cold morning start.

If the warranty has already passed, I guess they won't be covering their mess. Try doing it yourself or finding a better mechanic.

If the warranty states 12 months its 12 months and not 11 months and 1 week. ITs not like it was a inexpensive job and you can just pay to have it done every 11 months and 1 week. Also 19,000 k's must mean that the workmanship was poor. Persist with the warranty and if you have no answer ask to talk with the manager or better still mention Today Tonight as they just recently had a story on dodgy mechanics.

Oops was half asleep when i read the post this morning! even still its only just over 12 months and 19,000 k's. If Ford did the head gasket i hope they had the head tested and used new head bolts, if they didnt they shouldnt have waisted time and lots of money. A head gasket if done right should last atleast 100,000 k's.

Ford has honoured the warranty and i am having the head done again for nothing.
My other question is should the head be serviced again or is it okay just to have it put back on.
It has only done 19000kms since it was pulled off and serviced
