Headlights are soo dull its dangerous.
Is there a cheap and easy way i can fix the problem.

I dont want to go around blinding wildlife or anything , just need to be able to see more then 5 meters in front of the car.

Are there more powerful blubs that are safe to use in an EF?

(did a search but ended up getting more confused than i already am)

cheers

Ive done the same as DDDP....100w highs and narva +50's - but still dissapointed. My girlfriends 1988 laser lights up more road than the falcon!

Dunno what else to do - other than going this HID biz ive heard so much about. $$

I run 100w in normal and 130w in high and have had no problems with the lenses. I do a fair bit of country driving and i find them to light up the road pretty well.

Have you tried resetting the lights?
some times they tent to point down wards making them look like what you'll describing now.
take it to a mechanic or testing station where they would have a measuring pattern on the wall to adjust the beams properly for you. at least then they can tell you if you need globes replaced. I'm sure it's not going to cost that much.
