i had a thread a while ago where where the engine in my ef wasnt too happy. anyway i managed to get an el engine that i want to put into my ef till i can rebuild the engine that came out.

now the problem i have is that, the EL block does not have the screw hole for the bracket that is used on the EF. it only has has the one to hold the distributor still. where as my EF has the holes for both.

has anyone else had this problem?

is it possible to drill and tap a new hold to accomidate for the ef bracket?

You're talking about the cam angle sensor? I beleive you need to drill and tap the hole.
