SS Inductions make probably the biggest you'll be able to buy.

Otherwise an EL GT or AU3 XR8 snorkel will be the next best option.

I think the Aunger snorkels mouth is bigger and the snorkel is cheaper. I don't know who has a larger entery point into the air box though...

Haven't seen the Aunger ones, but the SS ones the whole snorkel is big enough to get your arm all the way into the airbox. The airbox requires a larger hole be cut to fit the snorkel.

The Aunger also requires the mod to the box for the larger hole. And as I said the mouth is larger. Dunno I guess it's a much of a muchness as in reality I'd be sure that a AU Tickford snorkel would provide enough flow for our near stock 6 bangers and at a fraction of the cost.

the aunger one is too big. It doesn't seal properly and lets in hot air from the engine bay. it also looks and feels cheap and nasty

aunger intake is s**t for money, don't bother. I've inspected one before & I've notice on some section is less then one mil thick. give it time & they will brittle from the heat & start cracking.

I'll take a picture of my supplementary intake pipe from the airbow to the opening between the radiator & head lights. it works cause it leaves a distinct round dirty circle on the filter every time when its serviced. plus its high enough it doesn't get a gulp of water if you drive over a puddle. some nasty damage there mate!

mate have a think for a minute, the engine doesn't have that much suck! it doesn't suck enough to actually lift dirt and that up vertically through your new. besides, you now have two air intakes (new one and orignal), so the engine will rather suck air (which is obviously lighter) from the old one than suck dirt up from the new one.
also you ahve a filter.
