hey guys i put my key in the ignition and the key wont turn i replaced the whole ignition barrel and steering lock less than 12 months ago due to it fouling when cornering and now the key wont turn wtf should i do one of my mates said jerk the steering wheel while turning as this is a common problem what you guys reckon ?

Yeah I agree. You only need to turn the wheel 5 degrees either way. Its pretty normal thing to happen. This happens because of the position the steering wheel is when it was last switched off. Does this make sense?

haha yeah i had to replace the ignition because the steering lock was stuffed..... and i was drunk at the time and was using the wrong key pmsl
