What is it with the EF/L oil pressure senders and breaking?
I have gone through 3 since replacing my dash, all have broken in the same bloody place. The latest has lasted 4 days!! Anyone else have this issue? Or am I doing something I shouldn't be. The sender wire is not taut nor stretching in any way, the only thing I can think of is the fact I use an extension bar and knuckle when I replace the bloody thing rather than have to pull the BBM off, which may crack the stupid plastic piece of sh*t. Any tips which may help the longevity (and my sanity) of these things?

Pretty sure its you.
Use a deep impact socket with a short wobble bar. I've replaced around 20 of them, and only broken one. (and that was purely to see how much horizontal levering it could take) They don't need to be over-tight as they're tapered. a bit of stag/teflon tape is all.
