hey im trying to change the power steering switch but am having trouble getting the old 1 off! i just cnt seem to get a spanner on the nut to get it off. has anyone done 1?

You sure ive got a new 1 and it looks just like a normal nut. Have you done 1 b4? And also i dnt wanna take it to a mechanic i want to do it myself.

Just changed mine - I used a thin openender that was bought cheap from bunnings for $1. Was a little tight and had to get at the right angle to make it fit.

Grind a 14mm? spanner down (like a cone spanner on pushbikes).
Its far easier to break the top of the f**k one and get a full ring spanner on it to remove. don't evertighten them as they are alloy.

From memory I think it is a 14mm - I'll go out to the shed later and double check. Someone else might be able to confirm this though.

i found it easier to lower the sway bar.

done hundreds of them grind down a 9/16 open ender and put a bit of a bend on it near the end, it wont get any easier than that
|
