Good point slicer

And you get much more for your money than one of those pissy little
ricer engines.

The good thing about having a car as common as dogs balls is that they are as cheap to get parts for.

Cheers

Only problem that we have come across with EF's(besides head problems due to lack of thought and maintenance)was very occassionally(4-5 all up)was the ECU fritzing ,resulting in a idle that "hunts",reasonably cheap to repair(last ECU we got was a "recon" for $400)but all in all,not too bad a jigger................

Love my EFII XR6 to death.
Have replaced the power steering pump, new diff 3.7 gears (bearing trouble) and air conditioning pump + Condensor.

well i dont think u wanna hear my stories about my car..... but just to say that the previous owner lied to me about what was done to it and only serviced it around 50,000kms and basically i am rebuilding the WHOLE f**k car

If anyone wants there is an EF down the road from me, i think it is either GLI or FUTURA, for around $5,000 i think

You have my sympathy.
Maybe it would be cheaper to sell your car and get another one.
Thats if you havent gone too far.
Sometimes its better to cut your losses.
and remember when your in a hole stop digging.

yeah well i wouldn't mind doing that except i have finance on the car and plus i cant afford, really, to put in a couple of thousand extra to get another one, plus all this work i am doing to it, i am also building it up so hopefully it will be better and not f**k up as much
