I have just fitted 3.45 gears to my ef futura and now when you floor it,it holds the gear too long and revs past redline to about 5800-6000rpm.
Definitely not a good look.
Any ideas why this is happening?
The car has a vernier gear,extractors,2.5 zorst,2.5 cat,cai and vortex 98 fuel.
The cam timing is advanced at 4 degrees.

You changed the speedo sender gear obviously?
Need a speedo corrector to 'uncorrect' the speed signal to the ECU to make it shift right.
If you do a search the reasons why have been covered alot of times.
