The EA 3.9 heads (and series one ebs) did not have a dip in the front centre of the head, so i dont think the ef rocker cover will fit.

If the links work you can see that the later model rocker covers have the bit that goes down so it might not fit? Depends whether it comes forward enough to get over the edge of the head.

i like the EF/EL rocker covers compared to the EA-ED ones... but if theres a possibilty it wont work 100%, i wouldnt take the risk... especially not with the new engine in!

they definately do fit, ive had one on a 3.9, and a eb 4l, you need to remove that ea gasket, as it has the dip built into the gasket, and buy a ef-l gasket, and you can get away with using the ea studs, you buy 3 sets of the sealing washers for the rocker, and use 3 setson each hole then do the nut up, doesnt leak and seals good

he is asking about an EF rocker cover - that engine is an AU, are they the same as an ef?

If you look closely at the EA pic, it looks like the divit is there, it is just the gasket that fills it..
