is there anyway that i can get my car to lean out a little? its running at about 11:1 and im told it needs to be around the 13:1 mark. would an adjustable pressure regulator help or not?

There may be a prob with the MAP sensor or ECT sensor. Test them first.

it had a jmm can in it, not 100% sure but think its a dev 3hl one. told thats whats causin bcoz it changed the vacume pressure in the inlet manifol at idle tell comp to dump more fuel in.

Yeah, that too, but the O2 sensor also gives feed back to the ECU on fuelling.
