Hi all,

I'm about to build the shift kit for my EF, I was just after a show of hands on who's done it, how well it works, is it too harsh, any broken boxes etc etc. Also, has anyone substituted the 5.6 and 18 ohm resistors with any other values for better results?

i havn't found the need to change the ef kits at all..

i get mixed results depending on the condition of the auto it's fitted to.
on a good auto chirp into second is not uncommon

In that case i can expect a normal shift - its kinda slipping atm in certain conditions - like its ramping the S5 too slowly. Don't really know that much about them yet to know if its normal or not. Maybe thats what the "Torque Control" badge means :) Its an Ex D-car, so its hard to say if its been a well maintained car, or a heavily thrashed car. Looks immaculate tho!

I have a shiftkit and if i didn't doubt the condition of my diff i'd run it pretty much all day every day. Very much worth the time and effort it takes to install it :)
