running rough? No power? Definetly sounds like a cyl or 2 is not firing.

Check each lead by removing from the plug and shovng a philips driver into one lead at a time. Hold the plug in one hand, holding the driver by the handle; hold the metal rod bit above one of the 4 nuts on your rocker cover, and get a mate to crank it over for 2sec. Test each one.

ok i know what it is

took rocker cover off and the timing chain is really loose, looking down where the chain is you can see a spring down there just floating about. it seems as though the timig chain tensoiner has shat itself and know is stuck down there.

can anyone suggest a good mech who can fix this or anyone willing to take a day off work to come and help. ( cash or beer will be payment ) ??

Has it skipped a tooth or 10 on the cam gear too?
Cause timing chain tension itself won't make it miss and feel gutless usually, having it skip teeth and valve meet piston + retarded cam timing will make it feel gutless and miss.

You should ring LUBE MOBILE for a quote, 13 30 32. Don't have to use them, but will give you a price to work around. Reason being each job sorta has a set price. I'm happy with them so far, let's me work with them.

lube mobile you idiot they cant fix a car they just f**k them lol  . depending on what has happenened it could be just has thrown the chain but most likely and unfortanly it has jumpped teeth and had piston /valve contact so in that case its head off and reco with new valves ect and timing chain set up most likely be lookin round the $2000 mark if that helps

I'm not an idiot, kid. He's at the stage where he needs someone to look at it and that was a suggestion.

Hahah, righteo..

Blazing EF, get on the phone tomorrow, ring a few workshops, you'll hopefully get a "common" answer to the issue.
