you've got an EF aswell?
Basically we need to work out how offset the missing tooth is compared to the VR sensor when at TDC.
i can't see it on my car at the moment, much to cluttered, since a lot of the ford EEC is derived from the US stuff i wouldn't be suprised if it was already 60 degrees but its something worth checking.

ok cool do you no this for sure or does anyone else no cos i have all gear for my ms and i will have to do this s**t to maybe or can you just put in the BTDC figure in as 45 degrees in the ecu setup?

Yeah, you can essentially enter an offset into the megasquirt settings. I forget exactly how - but its all there in the MS documentation.

if you didnt have the syrnchroniser your injectors wouldnt no when to pulse thats what sequentiale injections about only the injector pulses for that cylinder instead of 1 bank like the ea-ed and el where you waste fuel

I thought EF I6 was still bank fire?? Despite the fact it's got all the goods it needs for sequential...

EF's are not sequential and still have 2banks of 3. They only run 3 coils as well and use a waisted spark configuration.

well... i've determine that the requirement for the VR sensor vs missing tooth & TDC is perfect for the US EDIS unit :)

no need to relocate the sensor or anything.

excited now :)
