How do you remove the pipe at the bottom of the thermostat housing??? Please help as i have just replaced the head gasket and everything just need to replace the housing as i broke it when tightening. (i know stupid)

I guess you have removed the 10mm headed bolt, and plate.....???? You will need to spray it with CRC 5.56 or the like, down inside where the pipe goes......and try to move it back and forth. There is an 'O'ring there too.....you will need to replace it.

Yeah it's only attached by the bottom pipe which just seems jammed on so does it just pull out?

You won't pull it out, it will need soaking in CRC for an hour or so....and you will have to try and use a twisting motion to try and loosen it.....been there, done that.....several times. I eve had a peice of round bar about 300mm long that fitted into the hole at the bottom of the inside of the housing, so I could twist it easier. You could use a 1/2" drive extension bar for it....????
