Gday im in the process of refitting the XH inlet manifold to the EF motor (in an XH ) and it appears as tho the a/c compresser is different, it seems to be higher up on the EF motor is this right or does it just need to be eased in? iv tried to manouver it in around but by eye it loks different.

You can change it over while in the car with no issues.

Compressors are the same - Sanden TRS105 from memory. One sits on a bracket, instead of straight to the engine block.

From memory the XH has the bracket that sits it lower.

XH uses old style bracket to lower the Compressor so it clears the Log Manifold.
This is why there is a unique belt tensioner to NON XR6 XH's, The tensioner's top pulley sits to the right to clear the tensioner itself as the AC sits lower.

is the top bolt on the ac compressor longer than the 2 bottom ones? oh and there is a wire plug behind the a/c compressor that isnt on the original XH motor? will this need to be connected to somthing?
