any suggestions would be great.

sure will, although i have found el ones easier to wire up, if you do a search this has been covered many times and you will even find a few different ways to wire then up depending on how much work you want to do, lol.

you wont regret it either, much better cooling and a lot less robbing the engine of power.

Have to do it to my own one day. 14" volvo fans also seem to be a fairly popular choice, and can be found cheaper. Also, make sure that your radiator has the tabs for the fans to bolt to. If your radiator has ever been replaced, chances are it will have been swapped for the ef/el?

HI guys
i also want to put thermo fans on my ea but the radiater doesnt have the tabs for the ef fans to screw to.

so does anyone know what model the volvo fan is off and does
anyone know where i can get one from...

i will try a few wreckers but it would help if i knew what model its off.
i think this option will be cheaper ...
otherwise i will have to change the radiator to use ef ones

thanks

thanks a lot for your comments guys. i found a set on ebay brand new $175. ford is asking $895 so i know which set i prefer! i'll probably get around to doing this mod next week and most likely just wire the high speed in not both high/low.

thanks again!!
