thanks for the reply guys... some usefull info, my car has 175,000km on the clock n his is 140,000 could be because the el's a newer model n less k's n s**t like that coz it s**t's me its the same car n he pulls away... ill just wait till i get my hiflow cat n extractors n blow him

it feels like it's got something to do with the tranny i can feel his 1's a bit smoother than mine so yeah dat cud be it or something

Should be the other way around hey... i know my EL futura has a 3.08, and my mates EF futura has a 3.08 under its bum (both auto) hopefully not for too much longer though hehe

Feb 98 and later are probably a hybrid. Only way to be 100% is to check the part numbe ron the head it'll start with a 96DA or 96DT (xr6). You'll have to remove the belt guard to see the head.
