only the series 2 had IRS and they also had a changed coil pack in the VP's which would more than compensate for the IRS

cheers,

i dont know about that.. the turbo vls did a 15.5 1/4 mile
the std vls were more like a 17 1/4 mile

i hade a vl 5 speed and with a 2 1/2 exhaust and k&n panel filter it was busting its a** to break the 16 sec 1/4...
and my ea would s**t all over my old vl
any way thats my 2 cents worth...

FFS think before you post people.
VP is quicker than a VN, by like .1 of a second, and not like it matters anyway, they are eseentially the same car.
And a VL runs a f**k high 16 second quarter, and might I add it's a bloody STRAIGHT 6. I said V6, you fool.

It's comments like that, that make those of who choose to drive Falcons and Commodores the butt of many import drivers jokes.

And mrnasty, R1s are pretty quick, I doubt you'd get 12 car lengths.
You are exaggerating, it would be no more then 6!!!
Unless you had your superhappyfundifflockaccelerator activated.
