Basically.
Thinking about a cam swap. Don't want something heaps aggressive, would a ef xr6 cam go in and would I have to change springs or anything like that. Also what sort of power gains would I expect. My car is a eb spak series 1 5 speed with a strong motor. |

I would put in the valve springs too.......it helps if you have an XR6 ECU too, but from EBII or ED, but will need a black box to get around the smartlock side of things, so it will work.

What are springs worth?
So I can get it to work if I get the xr6 ecu and the black box that bypasses the smartlock. Is there a reason I need the ecu. Would the car run without it. From my small knowledge dosnt the xr6 ecu only give more agressive timing? This could be achieved with a good tune right? |

Don't know what springs are worth. You could go a piggy back ECU, or a J3 chip.....need to be tuned on a dyno. Its more than timing, also the fuel map.

Thanks mate.
Might focus on getting a lsd first so I can actually put the power down. Sorta get it now tho. |
