Can you tell me the what pin goes in what hole....
I have a spare eb loom here to salvage pins And how do you mean water temp depending on what? My eb has 3 sensors on the thermostat housing what are they all for? I plan to wire the knock sensor |

you just use the eb lower thermostat housing in the ef engine, the ef has the one sensor for water temp that is sent to the ecu and temp gauge..
eb has the one for the ecu, one for the temp gauge and depending on wether your eb is a fairmont or gl the 3rd one is either for climate control in fairmont or if it has hoses on it its for the ac vent control in series1... |

the el ecu needs the water temp for cold start, it needs the information so the ecu can adjust fuel and timing to suit the water temp..
if you use the eb sensors with the eb wiring it will work fine as the large sensor is the same from both.. the eb just needs the extra small sensor for the gauge on the dash... |
