my mate has an ef xr6 and last night we went on a falcon cruise and now there is a loud ticking noise from the air intake.

could be the distributor i had simular sypmtoms, then my rotor cap and button carked it.

ef has a coil pack instead of a dizzy...

Have you tried opening the bonnet on either of those 2 falcons?

Nah mat ur wrong there. EF's had a coil pack and EL's have a dizzy. (something about ford cutting costs so they could spend the money on the AU instead.)
