Hi All, Can someone tell me how many water Welsh plugs are in a 4 litre EL block and sizes and also how many and what size in the head.

6x 40mm welsh plugs are along the block on the intake manifold side.

25mm are the others, just not 100% sure where they are.
I think near the exhaust manifold.

There are 8 plugs...all 40mm in diameter.
5 on the exhaust side of the block, 1 at the rear ( must remove g'box & flywheel ) and 2 on the inlet side.
The little plugs lead to the oil run off galleries, and do not need to be replaced.
