Will a 96DA-10300-AA mitsubishi alternator go into a 00 AU Falcon that has the 1R23-10300-AA fitted? Both are serpentine belt driven.

I believe they wont interchange, AU is the same as BA, but EF is different to BA as I found out when I had to repair the BA one, so it appears EL is different to AU

Mounting points are different.
