Thanks biggav
doing a BBM conversion shortly and have heard AU thermostat is better for LPG cars, as the thermostat itself is in a different location. Is there any truth to that? cheers Barnsy

the only difference i know of from ea on is some have different provisions for sensors, can't remember the one with most bosses think it's ea.

Most? - I think it was EA-ED with Climate Control.
Least? - AU which has the temp sensor in the back of the head. Nigel |

so the best best is to use a EL thermostat housing for the BBM conversion

Use the same type of lower thermostat housing that came off your engine, use the EF/EL/AU(?) upper thermostat housing.

Go with what you have, unless you are also updating to an AU engine. Then you can either go with what you have and leave a temp sensor in as a blocker, or change to one model newer...
