Hey Everyone
I'm kinda mechanically illiterate, however, since buying my gorgeous EL the only let down I have is driving an auto. The car itself has a few little mods, no idea what, I just know she sounds and goes better than a stock EL and looks a little more vampish than others (Yes, this is what sold me) Just curious as to the possible cost of such conversion, the length of time it should take and any other factors I should take into consideration. As a footnote, this car is my baby and wont be used for dragging anything more than nanas off at the lights - for a few more weeks at least. The reason for my wanting this change is that I've always driven manuals, and the lack of 'control' with the auto is doing my head in. |

You don't need lots of time, maybe one day tops with 2 people.. With one person knowing what he is doing. If you want to do it, do it quick, it's not the best to do it in the middle of summer, otherwise do it at night.

I've made that mistake before but it was worth it even with the sunburn.
