Everything was fine yesterday when I removed/refitted the gearbox (and have done 150km since), this morning I started the car and the Check ABS & Airbag lights are on. I check the fuses and discover the reverse lights fuse is blown so I replace it and it blows again after turning the ignition on.
I dont have a wiring diagram for the car so does anyone know if the two may be linked? What could be causing the reverse light fuse to pop? Cheers |

It sounds like you have trapped the wiring going to your reverse switch and either the power feed to or from the reverse switch is down to earth, especially if you have just done some work to the gearbox. So recheck your wiring and Ithink you will see the problem.you may have caught the harness between the engine and the gearbox when you refitted it .

Not sure, I drove the car all last night with no problems, stopped & started about 4 times with no dramas.
I'll be checking it all anyway, cheers! |
