My computer in my car is a eec-iv Is this correct for a fairmont ghia? (Hybrid)
I assume its the standard computer, and cannot be earlier e series as bbm still works etc. My mate got a el one from wreckers and is eec-v. Im confused lol

EEC-V is used in EF/EL, and EEC-IV is used in earlier e-series cars and XG utes

6DJB from memory, only had it out 3 hours ago and forgotten already lol, I know it had a jb in it, and the 6 if for el, so got to be it lol. That pretty much sums my question up... so eec-iv are earlier e series? So how come a 98 el would have a earlier computer? but a revised tickford ghia catch code?
