Couple of quick questions,
With my new engine that is getting built.....Its going to be a manual. I want to replace the ecu with an ems 8860. The questions I have is, If I replace the ecu with the above, will my trip computer still operate? The reason I ask is because ive spoken to a few people and some say it wont because it runs off the ecu while others say it will still work fine because its part if the instruments! Just want to know what has to happen! Also when I change from auto to manual should I change the wiring harness aswell?

thats right no it wont work if you run only the ems but you can still keep the factory ecu in there aswell to run only things like the trip computer and all that sort of stuff talk too waggin about it he has gone through every option with combining the ecu's
