Hey all,

I have a Ford Falcon 1996 EL wagon.

I was told by a friend that when searching for parts,
I dont have to just stick to 96 EL Gli model,
as other models from around that time have compatible parts.

So i was wondering if people could please let me know which Ford's year/model/etc are compatible when looking for new parts for my car.
Also, which parts (if you know for sure from experience), if only a certain part from the car your mentioned is compatible, which one.

The part will need to be ok so that when i take it to the pits for inspection before rego, the dude doesn't tell me i have to take it off because it doesn't belong or isn't allowed to be used on my make/model.

I'm mainly thinking, things like,
* Gear boxes
* Motors
* Engines
* Panels
* Lights (head lights, indicators, etc).
* Bumpers
* Instrument Clusters
Etc...

gday yes bits and pieces are interchangeable being a gli and a wagon you can go with ea to El but there are parts that wont with out changing other things like headlights. head lights are different from gli to fairmont.
