hiya all um ive got an el falcon thats droped number 1. its all so reving abit high at idle about 1.2 ive put new leads on it. ive taken the lead off and put a plug in it and its sparking ive swaped the injecerd around ive cheeked comp its 180 when i rev the car over 1.5 it seems to come right and seems to drive like its running on six its just at idle its droped one i think. could this be the coil pack playing up when its under load. its driving me nuts cos its got fuel its got good comp it sparks the plug in it when you wind it over with it out

is it a EF with a coil pack with 6 points or an EL with a dizzy?

could be your coil or dizzy cap and/or rotor button, that's if it is an el.
i had the same prob not long ago with my ef, changed coil packs and now it's all good |

If its a late EL with the Au motor, it may have s**t the HAL effect sensor...
