That said, last time I was too lazy to go to the wreckers and just grabbed a new cheap one from eBay - it works great (so far)! Sweet! The wreck i got my rocker assembly off of was running when they brought it in apparently, so I should get the one off of it. Hell, I may as well get the whole throttle body for spare parts or so I can practice boring one out. Oh yeah, for the record, the CFI TPS did work - to avoid cutting my wires I just crimped on some of those push-in male clip do-dads, and cut them down thin enough to fit in, then taped it up. That should get me into town to get a better one, or until I order one off fleabay. My TPS was fine when I took it off, the only thing I can think of that would have broken it is winding it around with my finger - perhaps the sideways force on it snapped something in it? Hopefully someone can learn from my mistake.

Update: The EA TPS works...to an extend. The car was reluctant to go into top gear, and nearly stalled when you put it in gear, because the EA TPS is veeeery slightly wound around when you put it on, so the car assumes you always have throttle on, and I guess doesn't engage the ISC because of it.
