Hi peeps, gonna get an exhaust for the monty, the one on it looks like swiss cheese and the front muffler has a hole/split in it. What are the redback 2.5" catbacks off ebay like quality wise?
Is it worth cutting out the front muffler and putting a straight pipe or hotdog on it? Or will it be too droney? Loudness won't bother me too much, my neighbours are all hoons haha! Probably get some extractors eventually too though not for a while... What systems have all you guys got on your cars and what do they sound like? I want my system to have a nice deep burble and a bit more volume than your garden variety grandpa-mont. Maybe with a bit of crackle when I back off just as a cherry on top lol. Cheers guys any for any vids/specs/opinions/links

I have the Lukey cat abck off ebay and thats nice, I have heard the redbacks are roughly the same. Easy fit for both and I didnt get very much drone at all ( do now the cats blown out  ) with a stock cat and extractors. Sounds tough too but not obnoxious

Ill cut the front muffler off the red back system when I get one, see how loud/droney it is, then maybe get a hotdog on it to kill any drone it may have. I dunno its gotta sound better than what's on there at the moment...

if the system has one muffler and one on the tailpipe, id get rid of the one on the tailpipe and get a straight through tailpipe. my mate has that setup, and it doesnt drone much

no, got rid of the resonator. i think the redback cat back has one muffler under the car behind the cat, and the one resonator on the tailpipe near the diff.
