My god man why would you do that??? Slowest EL in existance if you go through with it. If you keep the BBM etc and all the other bolt ons you shouldnt have to change anything, but you wont have a knock sensor. If you put the ED log manifold in (GASP) then it'll be a f**k around cos you'll have to lengthen some wires or swap the engine loom. Id use the ED long motor and bolt the EL manifolds on in this instance. Or buy another EL donk. Also, if your car is an auto youre either going to have to get hold of an EL manual computer or do the auto resistor mod in the tech section.

first up, if the ed is a 94 model it already has an ef/el block and 94da head..
otherwise it will fit in fine you just use all the acessories and manifold from your el, no need to swap wiring or ecu's.. |

I don't think early 94's did, my March 94 didn't. All the ones I've seen beyond that did though. And it won't be much slower at all, ED motors sound a hell of a lot better too!! |

it may have only been the last 3 months of production in the ed that had the ef block and head??
i have seen a few of them and they were all 94 models.. mine is a june 94, mine must be extremely close to the last of the ed's, as im not sure what month ef started.. |
