ive got myself a brand new condition el rocker to put on my eb....my plan is to paint it bright blue first before i put it on.

ive cleaned it all up and degreased it all.

but should i sand it all back, or just put paint over the top??

1993_EBII_S what was the point in that? dont try and get post count up, the guy wants help

it was been covered a lot mate, but basically, if all the paint on it now is even just spray over the top after u use a primer

but if its peeling in places id take it right back so its all even

I did mine blue and turned out well, but I had it half polished cause I was planning on polishing it completely and changed my mind

so if theres spots, take it back, if its even then just spray over top, give it a good 5 coats to make it look real good

use some acetone or wax remover to rid of decreaser after you strip all the paint off, you'll be surprise how waxy decreaser is. use heat proof enamel. your local automotive paint store should recommend which one to use.

i put a EL rocker arm and cover on mine i think it looks good but i dont think you can have a eb rockerarm and EL rockercover so i hope your doing both,

nar it works fine mate, coz i just used the same screw tops off the eb rocker cover.

eb cover looks way beter than the elf one IMO.
