Gday blokes so im just about to lower the EL engine in the XH iv checked everything to match and im stuck on the coil pack distributer, do i need to swap it over i cant see the wire plugs fitting??? any info much appreciated

if its a el engine then it has the same distributor and coil set up as the xh...

the XH has a round dizzy like the old falcons but the EL motor has a rectangle box looking thing with the ignition leads going into it, could the EL motor be an AU???? It came out of an ef sedan but it was a change over motor...

in that case its not from an el, its from an ef..ef had coil packs and el went back to a dizzy..
you can still put the dizzy from the xh engine into the ef engine using the xh coil and xh loom.. |
