Maybe someone will know of the top of their head, or from experiance.

Hey,
The car appears to be using an excessive amount of coolant. I filled the system up yesterday, and went for a 30min drive and came back. Today when I went to go shopping, the coolant light came on and I checked the bottle and was empty. I checked all the hoses and made sure there was no cracks in the bottle. Temperature stays low. I have no idea. Thats is why I need a decent workshop manual...hehe Thanks, John. |

Since it is winter you'd be using it more often so more inclined to go "oh snap" on you. Located under the BBM. Could also be a welsh plug. Put some water back into the system and let the car idle with the heater on. Then try to spot the leak. phong =P~

My thoughts:
Check for leaks Or maybe there is too much pressure and its venting it out. But I can see why the manual would be handy.

You could also place the overflow hose into a small plastic coke bottle and see if its loosing coolant through the resivour cap. If its original its likely to have a cracked seal. If there is any coolant at all in the bottle after a short drive replace the cap.

can you actually see the lost coolant - if not it is quite possibly the dreaded blown head gasket and you are losing water internally
i got haynes and max ellery manuals in pdf format on cd if that helps |
