I cracked one of the high beam head lamps the other week and am having a lot of difficulty finding a replacement. Ford advised me the part has been discontinued and there are none left at the Brisbane depot. Autopro, Autobarn and Repco while initially believing they could help me all have jumped on their computers and then said they can't get one and my local wreckers can't get one.

Does anyone know of a cheap way of fixing this problem without resorting to Ebay? Is there a different brand headlamp that will fit in?

Ferntree Gully Auto Salvage in victoria may have one, they used to be a site sponsor, you'll have to email them, and it probably wont be cheap being an EL XR6 headlight, and you'll probably have to pay postage too, their website address is:

i think this is in the wrong topic area but i know that the light itself is the same as ED XR lights, and they are always going on ebay as a guy keeps listing the same ones for about $90 including psotage.

Just make sure you get the correct side.

I got one of these laying around, PM me a reasonable price including postage from 2208.
