Done a manual -> auto conversion (weird I know but don't ask).

Car has no power, will start and idle fine if I don't touch accelerator. If I push accel too fast it just backfires and splutters, if I go real slow on accel it will rev to 6000 +

Car is pretty much undrivable in this state. I can manually change 1-2-3-4 so I don't believe it's in limp mode.

I've pulled the fuel rail and all seem to squirt the same. It has to be firing on all cylinders as it runs mint on idle.

It had proper engine bay auto wiring hooked up correctly.

What could be the issue? Whole engine was out for the auto implant...

The plugs are all unique and can only be connected up one way. But all the connections look fine, no broken wires etc...

Earths are good and pretty sure injector loom is on correctly - the plugs are spaced out to go on in order I believe.

Possible but visually it looks fine.

This thing is really giving me a headache.

Gonna get a few bits from wreckers in weekend and try that.

Didn't realise that, damn. Well I know the fuel rail is pressuring as the injectors squirt - this is a good assumption yes? So if it's pressuring they must be on the right way?
