Done a manual -> auto conversion (weird I know but don't ask).
Car has no power, will start and idle fine if I don't touch accelerator. If I push accel too fast it just backfires and splutters, if I go real slow on accel it will rev to 6000 + Car is pretty much undrivable in this state. I can manually change 1-2-3-4 so I don't believe it's in limp mode. I've pulled the fuel rail and all seem to squirt the same. It has to be firing on all cylinders as it runs mint on idle. It had proper engine bay auto wiring hooked up correctly. What could be the issue? Whole engine was out for the auto implant... TedW wrote: check earth to block and that fuel lines are right way around Earths are good and pretty sure injector loom is on correctly - the plugs are spaced out to go on in order I believe. |

check fuel lines are correct ie.fuel supply into rail and return from regulator
check timing with timing light what is fuel pressure and delivery rate what is coil voltage ie. may have ECU relay playing up |

Well I know the fuel rail is pressuring as the injectors squirt - this is a good assumption yes? So if it's pressuring they must be on the right way? |
