Hey guys.
Yesterday my old man went and washed his EL XR6 and the wash. The engine bay was dirty so to do a quick job he sprayed the hose into the engine bay to clean it out.
The car now wont start. There was a bit of condensation on the plugs, but after drying it turns over fine and the plugs spark, but it just wont kick.

Any ideas on what it might be? any help would be great guys, and might save a trip to the mech.

Cheers.

f**k spark(weak) you tried drying dizzy cap ect, if not most likely up for coil and if worse case senario dizzy as the module could be f**k

spray the dissy with accatone or something that will drive the water out quick and evaporate.

either that, or the coil was about to s**t itself

I had this when I had my EL and it turned out to be the dizzy. I left a hair dryer sitting on top of it for an hour and it started.

If you try that and it still doesn't start the smart money is on the coil
