I think the 'eBay' in that statement answers it all.
The way I think is... if its commercial and is flogged off on ebay its crap. If its second hand its good and a good chance of being good in itself!

Wot a crock. It's speed up the air flow a bit, but wouldnt pressurize. Wouldnt have nuff balls to boost at all, the valves would just halt any extra flow before it gets to the motor. Rip off's...

a big NOS sticker would give you more power than that

Here is a classic example of the bodgy tricks some ford guys play to get a few horsepower. let me tell you something and dont get offended, but do something properly for once in your life. Bodgy benny would produce more power with his timing tricker resistor mod.
Oh s**t, dont tell me you have the resistor mod as well. Bodgy benny.

The above link is an example of the extremes you have to go to to make an electric poweradder actually work. 26 years of effort to get it all running, and run it does.. It gives you an idea of how useless the little computer fan type units would be. |

relocating the battery to the trunk and swapping out the air filter opens up enough room to install the unit.
not to mention you require 3 or 4 batteries to run the thing... so lets soo... battery relocating kit = $150each - 3 or 4 needed = $600 optima car batteries $250 - 3 or 4 needed = $1000 the supercharger kit itself $300 so for $1900 i think you could buy a small turbo kit (possibly second hand) and install it and get 200+rwkw apposed to their 6 psi boost and 3psi at redline (in a beetle) and does this unit turn off at idle? or will it be pushing through 6psi at idle too?? in all honesty stay away from these "cheap" mods as they arnt soo cheap in the end and power to money ratio you will be losing big time |
